Recurrent, Dominion work out deals on 100 MW of solar

RE Columbia LLC and Dominion Solar Gen-Tie LLC on July 14 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Shared Facilities Agreement (SFA) covering 100 MW of solar projects.

The agreement is with RE Columbia Two LLC, RE Camelot LLC, RE Yakima LLC and RE Clearwater LLC. The project companies are developing four solar photovoltaic projects with a planned combined capacity of approximately 100 MW. The projects will be located in close proximity to each other in Kern County, Calif., which is within the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) balancing authority area. Each of the projects will interconnect to the Southern California Edison (SCE) distribution system via an approximately 7.5 mile, 66-kV generation tie-line.

All of the output from each of the projects will ultimately be delivered to the CAISO-controlled grid through SCE’s distribution system for resale pursuant to a Service Agreement for Wholesale Distribution Service between the project companies and SCE.
