The Northwest had the lowest price at $31.15/MWh, or 20% lower than the prior business day.
Regional spot natural gas prices ranged from $3.05/mmBtu in the Mid-Atlantic to $4.79/mmBtu in Northern California.
Nymex energy futures prices for August delivery of natural gas and coal were listed at $4.20/mmBtu and $60.23/ton respectively.
