Northern California had the highest reported spot power price at $49.78/MWh, or less than 1% higher than the prior business day.
The Midwest had the lowest price at $32.42/MWh, or about 2% higher than the prior business day.
Regional spot natural gas prices ranged from $2.70/mmBtu in the Mid-Atlantic and New York City to $4.79 /mmBtu in Northern California.
Nymex energy futures prices for August delivery of natural gas and coal were listed at $4.12/mmBtu and $60.50/ton respectively.
