Fresh Air Energy II seeks approvals for 10-MW N.C. project

Fresh Air Energy II LLC applied June 18 at the North Carolina Utilities Commission for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity as well as a registration as a new renewable facility for its 10-MW (ac) Everett PV1 solar facility.

The facility will be situated on a single parcel located at 24896 NC 903 at Robersonville in Martin County, N.C. The parcel is located approximately 920 feet west of the intersection of Sam Everett Road and Lee House Road.

The facility is projected to come on line in April 2015. Electricity generated by the facility will be sold to Dominion North Carolina Power under a power purchase agreement.
