Northern California had the highest reported spot power price at $62.77/MWh, or 81% higher than the prior business day.
The Northwest had the lowest price at $37.94/MWh, or almost 123% higher than the prior business day.
Regional spot natural gas prices ranged from $2.92/mmBtu in the Mid-Atlantic to $4.90/mmBtu in Northern California.
Nymex energy futures prices for August delivery of natural gas and coal were listed at $4.41/mmBtu and $61.63/ton respectively.
