New England had the highest reported spot power price at $52.00/MWh, or 2% lower than its prior business day price.
The Northwest had the lowest price at $ 33.75/MWh, or about 12% lower than the prior business day.
(Four regions did not report spot power prices for June 26).
Regional spot natural gas prices ranged from $3.91/mmBtu in the Mid-Atlantic to $5.12/mmBtu in Northern California.
Nymex energy futures prices for July delivery of natural gas and coal were listed at $4.55 /mmBtu and $61.60/ton respectively. Gas was up slightly.
