PJM terminates agreement for 10-MW New Jersey solar project

PJM Interconnection on March 4 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a notice of the cancellation of an executed Wholesale Market Participant Agreement (WMPA) for a 10-MW solar project in New Jersey.

The 2011 agreement had been entered into among PJM, project developer Broadway Springs LLC and transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light. “The Broadway Springs WMPA is being cancelled because Broadways Springs assigned its project to a new Wholesale Market Participant named below,” said PJM. The project has been assigned to Moncada NJ Solar 201 LLC, which has it own WMPA with PJM that was filed with the commission in May 2012.

The Broadway Springs LLC agreement covered the Broadway Springs Solar Farm, located at 110 Good Springs Road, Broadway, N.J. The 10-MW facility would be made up of photovoltaic solar panels connected to inverters in 500-kW groups.

The developer contact is: Broadway Springs LLC c/o PVOne LLC, 771 Shrewsbury Avenue, Suite 105, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702, Attn: Brad Bauer.
