The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Jan. 7 accepted a November 2013 filing by Maine Electric Power Co. (MEPCO) of an Engineering and Procurement Agreement for a 250-MW wind project.
The deal is with Number Nine Wind Farm LLC, which is planning to construct a 250-MW wind farm in Aroostook County, Maine, and has requested generation interconnection service for that project. In order to advance the implementation of the interconnection, Number Nine has requested that MEPCO begin certain engineering and procurement activities.
