Goldthwaite Wind Energy LLC, a unit of Invenergy Investment Co. LLC, filed a self-certification March 7 with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission about its status as an exempt wholesale generator.
The company said it is developing a 150-MW (nameplate) wind farm in Mills County, Texas, that is due for operation in September of this year. The company will sell electric energy and capacity out of this project at wholesale. The project will interconnect to the transmission system of LCRA Transmission Services Corp. through a five-mile transmission line tie-in from the project site.
The filing lists Bryan Schueler as the Vice President for Goldthwaite Wind Energy. He is also the Senior Vice President of Development at Invenergy LLC. Goldthwaite is not currently listed as a project on the Invenergy website.
