American Transmission Co. (ATC) on Oct. 1 filed with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) the final costs of its 345-kV Paddock-Rockdale transmission project (PSCW Docket No. 137-CE-149).
On June 13, 2008, the PSCW issued its findings of fact, conclusions of law, and certificate and order authorizing ATC and its corporate manager ATC Management to construct a new 345-kV transmission line and associated facilities between the existing Paddock and Rockdale substations in Rock and Dane counties, Wis.
The final total project cost is about $116.2m, or 12.43% lower than the approved amount of about $132.7m, according to the filing.
The line entered service in March 2010.
The company submitted the final cost closeout data in accordance with order point 15 of the commission’s certificate and order.
