ISOs, regulators, stakeholders discuss capacity market reforms at roundtable in Boston

On Friday, September 21, Robert Ethier, Vice President of Markets Development, delivered a presentation at the New England Electricity Restructuring Roundtable detailing the ISO’s efforts towards a Forward Capacity Market (FCM) redesign.

Outlining the benefits and limitations of the existing FCM design, Ethier discussed proposed changes to the market and upcoming Forward Capacity Auctions aimed at helping the region address the five Strategic Planning Initiative challenges.
