Update: FERC removes cost allocation discussion from agenda

FERC removed from its March 15 open meeting agenda a discussion on cost allocation, a FERC spokeperson confirmed to TransmissionHub

The spokesperson declined to give a reason for the item’s removal and declined to say when the topic of cost allocation will be discussed later, saying, “We don’t project when things may happen.”

In an interview with TransmissionHub on March 14, Steven Herling, PJM Interconnection’s vice president of planning, said the industry was looking forward to getting some guidance from FERC on cost allocation and that such guidance would help PJM formulate its cost allocation methodology.
